ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a freelance copywriter to support our team on brand and web projects. You’ll collaborate with our brand strategist and project manager to write and edit everything from website copy to brand messaging deliverables.
This role is ideal for a versatile writer who can adapt tone, think strategically, and translate big ideas and brand personality into clear, engaging copy. We're looking for someone who understands the nuances of brand storytelling and enjoys working collaboratively to get things just right.
This is a part-time, hourly contract role starting at 5–10 hours/month, with room to grow.
Key Responsibilities:
Write and edit brand messaging, website copy, and other client deliverables
Support internal writing needs (case studies, presentations, marketing content)
Maintain clarity, consistency, and brand voice across our client work
Collaborate with strategy and design team members to refine voice and tone, and align messaging
REQUIREMENTS
3-5 years of copywriting experience (branding, marketing, or web preferred)
Strong portfolio of writing samples that show range, voice, and attention to detail
Ability to adapt tone and style across clients and formats
Curiosity, creativity, and a collaborative spirit
Comfortable working with remote teams and integrating feedback thoughtfully (bonus if you’re familiar with Asana)
Bonus: familiarity with SEO, UX writing, or content design principles
COMPENSATION
This is an hourly contractor role, starting at $35–$45/hour depending on experience.
